SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Skies have become mostly cloudy this afternoon as a cold front is pushing through the area. Behind the front expect below normal temperatures early this week before a warm up just in time for Thanksgiving.
Clouds will stick around through this evening as another area of low pressure develops along the cold front as it moves to the east. That will bring some rain to the eastern part of the state into tonight. Skies will gradually clear out overnight. Behind this front, a cold blast of air arrives tonight. Lows tonight drop back into the mid to upper 20s while temperatures on Monday will struggle to reach 40 during the afternoon.
The chill doesn't last long! We moderate nicely, with dry conditions in time for travel day Wednesday and Thanksgiving! The early call for Thanksgiving is sunshine with highs into the 50s!
