SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -  It's been a rather damp Saturday as we have been dealing with showers much of the day. The showers will start to wind down as a cold front has been moving through the region. Skies will remain cloudy early this evening before beginning to clear out later tonight. Lows tonight will drop back into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Sunshine returns on Sunday but it will not be as mild as we have enjoyed around here the last few days. More seasonable air will be in place and highs tomorrow will top out in the mid to upper 40s. A rather cold night is on the way for Sunday night thanks to clear skies and light winds. Temperatures drop quickly after sunset and lows drop back into the lower 20s.

Monday is going to be the coolest day of the week as even though we will enjoy mostly sunny skies temperatures will only rise into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Our next chance for rain arrives Tuesday afternoon and continues into Wednesday before we dry back out to close out the week.
