The damp and dreary day continues in to the evening as rain continues to move in to the area. By the time the rain comes to an end, we will have picked up around a half inch of beneficial rain. It's been a raw day, but thankfully we don't have to deal with any icing issues like we did Tuesday morning. Temperatures overnight will gradually fall in to the upper 30s as the rain begins to end after midnight.
We start to break out of the clouds on Thursday, but the wind picks up quite a bit. We could see wind gusts exceeding 25-30 mph in the Pioneer Valley, and 40-45 mph in the Berkshires. Temperatures will rise to the mid 40s on Thursday under partly sunny skies.
We have lots of sun on Friday. Unfortunately that doesn't lead to warmth as temperatures will be stuck in the low 40s.
Although nights will be chilly daytime highs will reach near 50 or even into the 50s Saturday through Monday! The first weekend of December is looking beautiful!
