SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The ridge of high pressure that brought the sunshine to the region this weekend continues to control our weather as the new work week begins. Temperatures will return to more seasonable levels for the middle of the week.
Skies remain mostly clear tonight and a cold night is on tap once again as lows drop back into the mid to upper 20s. A weak front pushes through the region tomorrow but it will be a dry frontal passage, as the front does not have very much moisture associated with it. It will bring highs tomorrow down into the lower 50s.
A coastal area of low pressure looks like it will pass far enough to the east that we will just see some clouds here in western Mass. We could see a few showers on Thursday before it looks like temperatures warm once again as we head toward the end of the week.
