A program in Agawam is giving children real world experience. It' s called the Lego League.

At the competition, students get to build, test and program robots. 22 teams from several states competed today in Agawam.

The top 6 teams will move on.

"It's huge. The Lego League is the largest program within the first robotics competition. These are kids. 9, 10, 11, 12-year-old kids. They get excited about the sports model that's part of this," said Dana Henry, Tournament Director.

The state championships will be held next Saturday in Worcester.
