The Department of Conservation and Recreation's Universal Access Program makes sure those with disabilities can get around easily.
The program strives to make state-owned areas accessible for everyone.
At the Patrick Skating Rink in Holyoke on Sunday, those with disabilities used ice sleds under the The Department of Conservation and Recreation's new skating program.
"It's hard with people with disabilities to go to state parks because of the terrain or just the accessibility," said Thea Everest from Florence.
The program will be held through the winter months.
