Winter has officially arrived but it will feel anything but like winter this morning! It's a mild, wet start with temperatures in the 40s.
We'll be tracking the rain today with it coming down at varying rates of intensity. It will wind down later this afternoon Most will pick up about 1/2 of rain before it comes to an end.
High pressure moves in tonight for some partial clearing. This should aide in developing areas of fog for tomorrow morning's commute.
Fog will give way to more clouds tomorrow as a second round of rain pushes in tomorrow afternoon through early Thursday morning. There may even be a thunderstorm tomorrow night as unusually mild air continues to move in. Despite the clouds and rain temperatures both today and tomorrow will punch into the 50s!
As this system move out on Thursday it will be down right warm for Santa arrives on Christmas eve as temperatures will climb into the 60s and will remain near 60 into the evening. There may be some showers on Christmas Eve morning but most of the day will be dry with some sunshine working in. Christmas Day is looking beautiful will sunshine and more warmth. Temperatures will reach close to 60! It will turn more seasonable as we push into the weekend but will still stay above normal with temps in the 40s.
