SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -

It's been a wet and very mild end to the weekend. Rainfall totals so far have run from about .50" up to almost 1.50". We also smashed the old record high for today. Unofficially we made it to 59 at Westover A.R.B. which beat the old record of 50 that was set back in 1972.

Showers will come to an end later tonight and there will be some clearing overnight as the cold front moves to the east. It will be a breezy and colder night as overnight lows drop back into the mid to upper 20s. Winds will shift to the west tonight with speeds between 10-15 mph with an occasional higher gust.

It remains windy and seasonably cold to start the new work week. Expect a mix of sun and some clouds tomorrow. It will be noticeably colder as highs only top out in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Factor in a west/northwesterly wind between 10-20 mph and it will feel even colder. A low pressure area may bring some snow showers Tuesday night into Wednesday before even colder air pushes in.
