It feels like spring out there this afternoon as temperatures reached close to 60! We topped off at 61 in Westfield and 57 at Westover ARB. There will be some cloudiness around as a weak cold front moves through the region this afternoon. Clouds will dissipate tonight with temperatures falling in to the mid-20s.
Tomorrow is looking very nice as well. It will be cooler with temperatures reaching into the 40s. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure and cold front will slide our way for Wednesday.
Unlike last February, this time we are on the mild side of things! Out ahead of the front, it will turn windy and very mild with some spots touching 60! Some of the higher elevations in Franklin and Berkshire Counties could see a light coating to an inch of snow early Wednesday morning before the snow changes over to rain. There will likely be heavy downpours and maybe even a thunderstorm in the afternoon. We will slowly go back to more seasonable temperatures behind the front as colder air drains in.
