It turned out to be a rather nice day to close out the weekend. Despite the fact that we were dealing with a gusty breeze temperatures still rose into the mid to upper 50s with a fair amount of sunshine. Our mild stretch will continue as we kick off the new work week.
Mostly clear skies are on the way tonight with temperatures dropping back into the mid to upper 30s. A weak cold front moves through the region tomorrow and with it comes the threat for some scattered light showers tomorrow morning into early tomorrow afternoon. We will see some sunshine later in the afternoon with temperatures once again rising into the upper 40s and lower 50s.
We made it into the 50s today and if we hit 50 tomorrow, it would mean 11 days this month with temperatures over 50! Last year we only had one day above 40 in February!
March 1st, "Super Tuesday", will be a bit cooler and dry. No weather issues as you head off to the polls! Our next chance for storminess will arrive along about Wednesday. However, this storm looks like another "inside" runner which means more rain, wind and mild temps!
