The clouds have thickened up this afternoon and rain is continuing to move in. Despite the rain this afternoon, we still saw temperatures rise in to the upper 60s this afternoon.
Rain will come down at varying rates of intensity through most of the night, so you'll want to have that umbrella handy if you have any evening plans. We'll likely pick up about 1/2" of rain here in western Mass with some spots reaching up to an inch. A stationary front is right over top of us, and the showers will ride along that frontal boundary before we finally see it clear out on Friday morning.
Friday will start with a few clouds, clearing quickly into the afternoon. It will be bright and breezy with temperatures still reaching near 60. Not a bad way to end the work week!
The dry weather and sunshine will last through the weekend! It will still stay mild with afternoon high temperatures in the 60s. While both Saturday and Sunday mornings will be chilly in the 20s and 30s, a dry air mass in place will allow temps will climb fast into the afternoon. We add a few clouds on Sunday afternoon, but our next rain chance holds off until Monday.
We'll turn closer to average on Monday, temperature-wise, topping off in the upper 40s to around 50.
