The strongest of the storms have moved east, leaving us with dry conditions for the time being. Over the next few hours, we will see a few isolated showers move through western Mass. We do not expect any severe weather with the showers tonight.
As this system moves out, colder air will sweep in for the weekend. Clouds will give way to some sunshine Friday afternoon as temperatures fall into the 30s, after morning highs in the 40s. We expect another round of rain for Friday afternoon.
Right now the weekend is looking dry with temperatures in the lower 40s and upper 30s for highs. Our nighttime lows in the upper teens! A winter chill will be in the air!
Over the weekend a coastal storm will take shape off the Carolina coast. With cold air in place, things will get interesting. At this point, plan on at least measurable snow Sunday night into Monday morning. You'll probably want to dust off the shovel that has barely been used this winter.
We start the gradual warm up after Monday. Mid 40s on Tuesday, near 50 on Wednesday, and lower 50s on Thursday.
