This afternoon featured mainly cloudy skies, however with the sun peeking out in some spots, we’ve seen relatively mild temperatures overall. We'll remain on the mild side of a frontal boundary for now, but things change as we head into tomorrow. We will remain mostly dry into the evening, but we could see a few spotty showers.
This stationary front will sag south of the area tonight bringing with it a touch of drizzle and a few additional showers. As the cooler air settles in, there may even be a touch of freezing drizzle north of Route 2 and across the higher terrain. You may need watch for a few a few icy spots tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will remain damp and cool with readings in the low to mid 40s in the afternoon.
An area of low pressure will track along this front tomorrow night into Friday morning bringing with it a period of rain, downpours and most importantly, milder temperatures into the weekend.
The rain will end Friday morning followed by a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will bounce back Friday afternoon too with highs into the low 60s.
High pressure will build into western Mass for the weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday are looking nice with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. Readings will reach into the upper 50s and to near 60!
