After a mostly sunny and breezy day to close out our weekend some showery weather greets the new work week. At least it will not be a washout tomorrow and with a warm front lifting north of the region milder air will begin to work in.
Clouds will be on the increase tonight with lows dropping back into the lower 30s. The breeze will stick around this evening into tomorrow with winds tonight between 5-15 mph. Winds will shift to the south tomorrow as that warm front lifts north. Wind speeds will also pick up as well with sustained winds of 10-20 mph with some gusts to around 30 mph possible.
That same warm front will bring the chance for showers to the region tomorrow though the day does not look like a washout. The precipitation could start off briefly as a wintry mix in the higher elevations of Berkshire & Franklin county before changing over to rain. The Red Sox home opener takes place at Fenway Park tomorrow afternoon and it looks like they should be able to get the game in. Highs tomorrow top out in the lower to middle 50s.
A better chance for rain will come on Tuesday as a cold front pushes through the region. Highs on Tuesday will top out in the lower 50s.
