Sunshine continues as high pressure dominates. Our stretch of beautiful spring weather is in its 6th day in a row! Temperatures have topped off in the upper 70s to near 80 this afternoon. A few clouds will mix in during the evening as a cool front slips down from northern New England.
A couple of showers will move in tonight as a front slips through the area. We're not expecting much rain though. In fact, showers will wind down early tomorrow morning and the sun will come out rather early as well. This front will cool us off a bit tomorrow but temperatures will still reach into the 60s with plenty of afternoon sunshine. Rainfall amounts will be less than 1/8 of an inch.
A FIRE WEATHER WATCH goes into effect at Noon for western Mass. With six days of dry weather, low relative humid values, and gusty winds, tomorrow has all the ingredients for brush fire risks to increase in the afternoon.
High pressure will move back in for the middle of the week supplying us with nice weather for Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will be mainly in the 60s. A front will bring some showers on Friday followed by a bright, brisk and chilly weekend with temperatures in the 50s.
