A Chicopee man is under arrest accused of claiming that he had a bomb at a Bradley International Airport security checkpoint.
Connecticut State Police said that on Wednesday, troopers received a report from the TSA that someone at a checkpoint said that he had a bomb.
While checking identification and routine questioning, 43-year-old Eleuterio Serrano of Chicopee allegedly remarked that he had a bomb in his body.
Connecticut State Police added that Serrano's comment was reportedly made in reference to surgical implants that were recently put in his back.
Serrano was arrested and charged with breach of peace and was released on $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court on May 11 for a pre-trial hearing.
