Our unsettled weather pattern continues for the next several days. It will continue to feature a chance for showers and temperatures running below normal for the next several days. As we head into tonight there is the chance for showers this evening. Showers will taper to areas of drizzle and fog overnight. Lows drop back into the lower 40s.
We keep the stretch of cool, gray days going as it's still looking unsettled for the remainder of the week. An upper level low cut off from the main jet stream will sit and spin off shore. With no upper level, jet stream winds to carry it away it has no where to go thus we stay gray and cool.
It will NOT be raining the entire time, and we may see a few peeks of sun here or there. (Although don't bank on it) Things will improve somewhat over the weekend but a front will move through at some point bringing us one final round of showers and downpours before we clear out completely. Temperatures will moderate as we head into the weekend with a few more rain chances both Saturday and Sunday. Mother's Day will likely end up partly to mostly cloudy with a few showers and it should be a bit warmer too with temperatures rising into the mid to upper 60s. Next week looks much improved with sunshine returning and temperatures rising into the lower 70s.
