Mostly clear and chilly tonight. A dry and warmer stretch ahead

Posted: Updated:

Happy Mother's Day! It took some time but the sunshine finally returned this afternoon and that helped temperatures rise into the lower 60s. It has been rather windy out there this afternoon but those winds will relax as we head into tonight and a nice stretch of weather is headed our way for the next few days as a ridge of high pressure builds in.

Under mostly clear skies tonight lows will fall back into the mid to upper 30s. Skies become mostly sunny tomorrow with just a few clouds mixing in from time to time. It will be another breezy but mild day as highs top out in the middle 60s. Clear skies tomorrow night with diminishing winds as lows drop back into the middle 30s.

The weather pattern for this week is looking dry with temperatures gradually warming a few degrees each day. We will see daytime highs in the upper 60s to around 70 early in the week. Lower to middle 70s are possible by Wednesday and Thursday before a cold front brings cooler temperatures on Friday as well as the chance for a few showers.
