It turned out to be a rather pleasant afternoon despite the fact that the clouds rolled in. Temperatures made it into the lower and middle 70s today. Hopefully you were able to get outside and take advantage and windy and much cooler conditions are on the way for tomorrow.
A strong upper-level system and cold front will move through tonight with a round of showers and even a thunderstorm or two. If you are headed out later this evening you may want to take the umbrella with you. Showers will come to an end in the pre dawn hours tomorrow morning with overnight lows in the lower to middle 40s.
Behind the front, it turns windy and chilly for tomorrow. Temps on Sunday will struggle to reach 60 with strong, gusty winds. There is the chance for a few showers in the afternoon as a weak upper level disturbance pushes through the region. The cooler air and windy conditions will linger into Monday with highs in the upper 50s but at least we will see mostly sunny skies.
Temperatures will begin to moderate back into the 60s during the middle of next week and by the end of the week we should be back into the lower 70s.
