There's a good chance that Massachusetts voters will decide the future of Common Core testing this November.
That's if the group "End Common Core" can collect 11 thousand signatures statewide to put the question on the statewide ballot in November. The group held an informational meeting tonight in Chicopee. Their goal is to restore pre-Common Core standards in all public schools.
Dan Allie, the Hampden County Coordinator for End Common Core says, “Everything is being controlled by Federal funding and teachers, students and districts are being controlled by the performance on these assessments.”
End Common Core has until June 22nd to get the 11 thousand signatures.
