It was a pleasant "May-like" today with temperatures topping off near seventy, under a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Clouds will be on the increase tonight but if you have any evening plans you are going to be just fine. It will be a cool night tonight with overnight lows dropping back into the middle 40s.
It now looks as though an upper level disturbance will swing through New England tomorrow. This means some morning sunshine will give way to mostly cloudy skies, along with a few afternoon showers, downpours, and maybe even a thunderstorm. Most of the day will be dry but keep an eye to the sky. Highs tomorrow will top out in the mid to upper 60s to around 70.
High pressure will work in for Friday supplying us with a beautiful day. We'll see sunny skies and warm dry conditions with highs into the middle 70s. Things should stay dry through most of Saturday afternoon. Some moisture may try to work its way up the coast for Saturday night into Sunday. The jury is still out on whether or not this will happen so the second half of the weekend is still looking a bit fuzzy at this point. Lets plan on at least a couple of showers and a few clouds on Sunday.
It's looking as though a cool, unsettled pattern may set up for the beginning of next week as two back-to-back coastal storms threaten. It's still early so stay tuned.
