We had some heavy downpours move through the valley this morning with most spots picking up between 1/4 - 1/2" of beneficial rain.
Most of the showers and downpours will stay out of the valley this evening, but there may be an isolated sprinkle early. Temperatures topped off in the mid 60s today – a bit chilly compared to yesterday.
Low pressure will move out tonight allowing high pressure to build off shore for the rest of the week. The clockwise flow around the high will usher in much warmer temperatures – almost summer-like! Temperatures will reach into the 80s for the rest of the week, lasting into the weekend. There will be a few shower and thunderstorms chances on Friday and Saturday but no washouts or all-day rains are likely. It will become rather muggy for Friday and Saturday as well with dew points creeping into the 60s.
A backdoor cold front will cool us off and dry us out for the second half of the Memorial Day Weekend.
Right now, Memorial Day is looking dry and comfortable with temperatures in the mid 70s. Perfect for any outdoor plans!
