It was a little cooler today as highs topped out in the lower 80s in many areas but it also was rather humid once again. We have also seen some showers push through the region, mainly in Berkshire county where some street flooding was reported in Lee. The best chance for rain comes tomorrow as some of the moisture associated with Tropical Storm Bonnie pushes toward the region.
Clouds will be on the increase this evening. After midnight a steady rain will move into the region as some of the moisture associated with Tropical Depression Bonnie moves into the area. Lows tonight will drop back into the lower to middle 60s. Rain will come down heavy at times tomorrow morning with some areas picking up as much as two inches of rain in a short period of time. That could cause some poor drainage and street flooding.
We may catch a bit of a break from the rain early to mid afternoon tomorrow. By late afternoon a cold front approaching from the west could touch off another round of showers and thunderstorms. It will be a cooler day tomorrow with highs in the lower 70s but it will also be slightly humid with dew points in the lower to middle 60s.
We will begin to dry out tomorrow night before the sunshine returns with drier air and warm temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday.
