Storms Fizzling To Showers; Dry Tuesday Ahead!

Posted: Updated:
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Temperatures hit the upper 70s this afternoon after morning showers. The morning rainfall gave us between .25"- .75", and we added another .50" in some areas with this evenings rain.

The thunderstorm threat has passed, and now we are expecting conditions to dry out as we head into the overnight. Tomorrow may start with some clouds and fog but the sun will come out and tomorrow is looking very nice. It will still be rather warm but it will turn less humid with a nice breeze. Highs will reach into the middle 80s! Unlike yesterday and today, Tuesday will have dew points in the 50s – much more comfortable! It will be a nice way to end the month.

The rest of the week is looking sunny and cooler with daytime highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the lower 50s. Certainly a nice way to start off June!

Our best chance for rain arrives on Friday with rain chances throughout.
