It was a warm and dry afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s and dew points in the lower 50s. Another warm and dry day is headed our way tomorrow before we see a chance for showers to close out the week.
The sunshine and warm temperatures made for a great start to Meteorological Summer (June 1st). Hopefully you were able to spend some time outdoors. With clear skies and light winds, things will cool off nicely overnight. You'll be able to shut off the AC's and open up the windows. Temperatures will fall into the lower 50's by morning.
The nice weather will stick around for tomorrow as well, although some clouds will increase in the afternoon as high pressure slowly shifts east. It will still be comfortable though dew points will slowly creep into the middle 50s.
A weakening front from a low pressure system to our north will bring a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Friday. It will become a bit more humid out ahead of the front. Most of the day will be dry so you'll likely be able to get your outdoor plans in.
High pressure will move back in for Saturday marking for a great start to the weekend. Lots of sun, temperatures near 80 and dew points in the 50's. A few showers will move in on Sunday but it certainly will not be a washout.
