If you have outdoor plans this weekend today is going to be the day for them. Thanks to high pressure temperatures today top out in the 80s with partly sunny skies. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a rather wet day to end the weekend.
A weak ridge of high pressure slides in for the start of the weekend. This means today will turn out to be a fine June day with partly sunny skies and warm conditions. Temperatures will reach into the low to mid 80's with dew points in the upper 50s to around 60. It should be great weather for the cookouts and graduation parties. I wish I could say the same for Sunday.
Things will go downhill for the second half of the weekend with rain developing by late morning likely lasting into the evening on Sunday. Moisture from the Ohio River valley will move our way. Temperatures on Sunday will stay in the 70's. Rain could be on the heavy side during the second half of the day with an embedded thunderstorm possible.
Sunshine returns for Monday with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. We could see a few afternoon showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Tuesday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
