After a beautiful day yesterday it's going to be a wet end to the weekend. If you are going to be out and about you will want to keep the rain gear and the umbrella handy.
We will see periods of rain throughout this evening. The rain will come down heavy at times. There could even be a couple of thunderstorms. The main threat with any thunderstorms would be very heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs today will only top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s but it will be rather humid as dew points run in the lower to middle 60s.
Rain comes to an end late tonight. By the time the rain comes to an end many areas will pick up about an inch to an inch and a half of rain with the possibility that some areas pick up over two inches. We are going to have to watch for some street and poor drainage flooding this afternoon into this evening.
We should see some clearing overnight. Lows tonight night fall back into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Sunshine returns for Monday afternoon with temperatures in the lower 80s. We could see a few afternoon showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Track the storms as they move through the area. Check out the interactive radar on our weather page.
