After a chilly start this morning, temperatures rose through the 60s into the mid 70s this afternoon. Even though the temperatures felt great, we were still about 5 degrees below average for this time of year.
Winds have been steadily diminishing today and continue tonight under mostly clear skies. It will be another cool, almost chilly night with temperatures dropping back into the mid 40s.
It will be a bit warmer and more humid on Saturday with highs in the middle 70s. A summer feel will be back in the air by the afternoon. A cold front will bring some showers and possibly a few thunderstorms Saturday afternoon. Saturday WILL NOT be a complete rain out, but you will need to be prepared to head inside if the clouds start to darken.
Most of Sunday is now looking dry as cooler air moves back in on a gusty northwesterly breeze. Winds could top 40+ mph! Highs on Sunday will top out in the lower to middle 70s.
We'll stay below average, temperature-wise, Monday and Tuesday before we are back to normal for Wednesday.
