This afternoon continued yesterday's trend of breezy winds. That said, it was pretty pleasant outside. Skies featured a clouds mixed with sunshine as temperatures reach into the low 70s in the southern valley and mid 60s in the higher elevations.
An upper level system across eastern Canada will keep temperatures below-average and is responsible for the gusty breeze. This system will slowly break down and move away over the next couple of days.
Most of this week is looking rather pleasant with mild to warm afternoons and cool, comfortable mornings. There may be a few showers late Thursday into Friday morning, but high pressure appears like it will continue to dominate, keeping us dry.
The winds relax a bit tomorrow, and under mostly sunny skies, our temperatures will top off in the upper 70s.
Temperatures will come up slightly Wednesday into Thursday with highs into the lower 80s. Humidity levels will stay rather low with dew points mainly in the 50s.
There is a little uncertainty on the Father's Day forecast. Right now, we are looking dry with temperatures in the low 80s and mostly sunny skies. However, if Thursday's low pressure system turns back north, it could bring some rain to us on Sunday. Jury is still out on those rain chances.
