For mid-June, it doesn’t get much better than this. Our temperatures have topped off in the mid-to-low 80s, the winds have relaxed, and our humidity levels are low. Near-perfection!
It will be a nice, comfortable overnight as temperatures cool into the lower 50s by morning.
A low pressure system will drop through the Great Lakes into the Mid-Atlantic tomorrow that may bring a few clouds to the area. Showers and thunderstorms will stay south of the area as high pressure pushes everything out-to-sea. Tomorrow will feature a mix of sun and clouds with nothing more than a sprinkle or two.
Sunshine will prevail through the weekend including Father's Day as high pressure keeps things dry. We can expect highs in the 80s with overnight lows in the 50s.
We probably won’t see any meaningful rain until Tuesday when a cold front brings a few showers and storms. Out ahead of the front it may briefly turn muggy for the start of next week but until then it looks to be clear sailing! What a way to finish off Spring! Summer officially starts next Monday at 6:34 PM.
