We are in the middle of a fantastic stretch of weather that will last through Father's Day Weekend.
This afternoon featured a mixture of sunshine and clouds with temperatures reaching into the low to mid 80s. An area of low pressure is dropping into the Mid-Atlantic this afternoon, bringing severe weather to that area. We could squeeze out a sprinkle or two, but high pressure will suppress the showers and thunderstorms away from western Mass.
After some morning clouds, the sunshine will prevail tomorrow and stick around through Father's Day Weekend. Friday will be a bit cooler and drier with high temperatures in the upper 70s. High pressure will reestablish itself, keeping things sunny and dry. We can expect highs in the 80s with overnight lows in the 50s with wall to wall sunshine both Saturday and Sunday! It will be nearly perfect for dad's big day!
We won't see any meaningful rain until Tuesday when a cold front brings a few showers and storms. Out ahead of the front it may briefly turn humid for the start of next week but until then it looks to be clear sailing!
What a way to finish off Spring! Summer officially starts next Monday at 6:34 PM (the summer solstice).
