What a stretch of weather we have been enjoying. We saw another great weekend with plenty of sunshine and very warm temperatures. Our dry stretch will continue as we kick off the new work week before some much needed shower chances for the middle of the week.
If you have plans this evening you are going to be just fine. Under clear skies tonight it will not be quite as cool as it has been in recent nights. Overnight lows will drop back into the upper 50s to around 60. We will wake up to sunshine tomorrow morning but some clouds may work in during the afternoon. It will start to feel a bit more humid tomorrow thanks to a southerly breeze. Highs tomorrow will top out in the middle to upper 80s.
Skies will become mostly cloudy tomorrow night with the chance for a shower after midnight. Lows tomorrow night will fall back into the lower and middle 60s. As a cold front approaches the region on Tuesday we will see our best chance for some rain with the chance for some afternoon showers and thunderstorms. It will also become rather humid on Tuesday with highs in the lower 80s. The chance for showers could extend into the first part of Wednesday.
And by the way, we need the rain. Parts of western Mass are now under a moderate drought. Year-to-date we are running about 5" below normal. We've picked up 15" of rain thus far, where we should be closer to 20" at this point.
