The “Pink Way" Foundation held a bottle and can drive fundraiser Saturday morning in Ludlow to help breast cancer patients.
As many breast cancer patients, the cost of cancer drugs is enormous and sometimes and simply being insured is not always enough. Some insurance companies do not cover the drugs that are prescribed by doctors to save breast cancer patients' lives.
Organizers said one of the goals of this fundraiser is to help those patients here in Western Massachusetts who cannot make their co-pays.
"Everything we collect is we do this from the bottom of our hearts because we're all survivors and we want to give back."
“Pink Way” also has an annual benefit in October as part of Breast Cancer awareness month.
