After a cloudy and cool start to the weekend showers are possible tonight and the threat for showers will continue into tomorrow. Drier air moves in early next week before summertime heat returns later in the week.
Expect cloudy skies tonight with the chance for showers are likely tonight as lows drop back into the upper 50s to around 60. There could be some areas of fog. Any rain we can get is certainly beneficial as some parts of the area of running a rainfall deficit for the year of well over 6 inches.
A cold front will push through the region on Sunday so we will still be dealing with the chance for showers as well as the threat for a thunderstorm. Highs tomorrow top out in the lower and middle 70s. Showers will begin to come to an end tomorrow night with some overnight clearing and lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Drier air begins to move in early next week and as we head later into the week we will see the return of summertime heat as highs approach the upper 80s and lower 90s starting on Wednesday.
