It's been a dry afternoon with more clouds than sun. The clouds have kept our temperatures in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. As we head later into the evening, our cloud cover begins to decrease, and that allows us to start the day mostly sunny.
We've really been riding the temperature roller coaster over the last week. Last Wednesday and Thursday we topped off in the low 90s. By Saturday, we only reached 69 degrees for a high! We'll be back to summer-like temperatures as we go further into this week.
Overnight, temperatures fall into the mid 50s. There could be some patches of fog for some. You may want to give the AC a break tonight because you'll need it tomorrow.
Temperatures tomorrow will be into the upper 80s with still fairly dry conditions. Fortunately, the humidity doesn't arrive until Wednesday through the end of the week.
Temperatures will be nearing 90 most of the week, and with the increased humidity on Thursday and Friday, we may see a thunderstorm or two.
We had a good bit of rain this past weekend, however we have a ways to go to improve our moderate and severe drought situation in the Pioneer Valley. Hopefully we can get a good soaking towards the end of the week.
