It was hot this afternoon, but thankfully not as humid. At the moment, our high temperature at Westover ARB is 91°, but we could add a degree or two when the official number comes out! It’s likely we won’t the highest temperature of the year, currently at 94° set back on May 28th.
A bit of a saving grace today has been the dew points have been falling through the low 70s to the low 60s. A stray shower or thunder is possible into the evening, but most of us remain dry into Saturday.
Tomorrow will feature more very warm and muggy conditions with an isolated, afternoon thunderstorm as finally the cold front pushes east. Temperatures tomorrow will be back up near 90. Skies will be mostly sunny.
Sunday is looking very nice with slightly cooler, drier air working into western Mass. It will be sunny and warm but with lower levels of humidity. All things considered, it will be a beautiful July day. The humidity will return for Monday with showers and a few storms late Monday into Tuesday morning before we dry out nicely for the middle of next week.
