It's a mild and muggy start out there this morning with some showers moving through the region. Another hot and humid day is expected today and tomorrow before drier air moves into the region beginning on Tuesday.
Clouds and showers in some parts of the area this morning will give way to partly sunny skies. There is the chance for some scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm this afternoon. Not everyone will see a shower but keep an eye to the sky if you do have outdoor plans this afternoon. It will be another hot and humid day with highs topping out in the mid to upper 80s with dew points in the middle 60s. Skies will become mostly clear tonight with overnight lows dropping back into the lower 60s.
We will wake up to sunshine tomorrow morning. Clouds will begin to build in the afternoon and as a cold front approaches from the west we will see the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will be a hot and humid day with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s with dew points in the upper 60s.
Drier air works in beginning on Tuesday and will last into Thursday. By Friday the humidity will start to build back in with dew points in the 60s. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms looks like it will come on Saturday with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
