Today the sun is back in full force after yesterday's shower chances. It was still very warm but less humid after the cold front swung through, ushering in drier air from the northwest.
We've seen plenty of sunshine this afternoon with temperatures reaching into the upper 80 and low 90s as dew points fell into the upper 50s. With the dry, breezy conditions there is an elevated brush fire threat so be careful if you're doing any grilling or having a bond fire at night.
With a drier air mass in place, things will cool off nicely overnight with readings falling into the 50s.
Tomorrow will feature more very warm and dry conditions with highs back into the lower 90s. Any outdoor activities will be a go with no issues as long as you remember the sunscreen!
Thursday will be just as hot with some humidity building back in with a slight chance of a sprinkle in the afternoon. Temperatures will be back into the low to mid 90s.
An area of low pressure and a swath of showers and thunderstorms will pass close to us on Friday, however it remains to be seen if we'll get any meaningful rain from this system. It will be muggy and a bit cooler on Friday with temperatures in the 80s.
We'll see another chance for rain as we go into Sunday. Once again, we hope to get some good rain totals with this rainfall as well.
