It's a cloudy and damp start to our Sunday and the chance for showers lingers throughout the afternoon though it will not be raining all the time. Showers are likely as we kick off the new work week before we begin to dry out mid-week.
A area of steady rain this morning will give way to scattered showers this afternoon with the chance for a thunderstorm. While it will not be raining all the time keep in mind that a shower can pop up at any time. Highs today top out in the middle 70s but with dew points in the 60s it will feel rather uncomfortable. Cloudy skies expected tonight with the chance for showers. Overnight lows drop back into the lower and middle 60s.
As a front remains stalled out just to our south the chance for showers will continue Monday and into Monday night. Highs on Monday top out in the mid to upper 70s with overnight lows Monday night dropping back into the upper 50s and lower 60s. There could be a few leftover showers on Tuesday morning before some sun returns Tuesday afternoon.
Temperatures will begin to warm by the middle of the week with highs approaching the upper 80s to around 90 by the end of the week.
