The steady rain will saw this morning has given way to cloudy skies and scattered showers this evening. Showers are likely as we kick off the new work week before we begin to dry out mid-week.
The rain that we saw last night and into today has certainly been beneficial in some areas. Some parts of Western Mass have picked up almost two inches of rain. Cloudy skies expected tonight with the chance for showers. Overnight lows drop back into the lower and middle 60s.
As a front remains stalled out just to our south the chance for showers will continue Monday and into Monday night. Highs on Monday top out in the mid to upper 70s with overnight lows Monday night dropping back into the upper 50s and lower 60s. There could be a few leftover showers on Tuesday morning before some sun returns Tuesday afternoon.
Temperatures will begin to warm by the middle of the week with highs approaching the upper 80s to around 90 by the end of the week.
