Stretch of dry weather continues tomorrow. Some showers possible Saturday

Posted: Updated:

Today and tomorrow will continue to feature plenty of sunshine, comfortable temperatures and low levels of humidity. Readings will reach into the mid 80's with dew points in the 50's. It will be two nearly perfect August days!

It will be another great night for sleeping tonight with lows falling back into the low to mid 50's. High pressure will bring plenty of sunshine again tomorrow too. It will be a bit warmer tomorrow afternoon with temperatures reaching into the upper 80's but humidity levels will remain rather low making for more great August weather.

A cold front will move through on Saturday, bringing a few showers and thunderstorms followed by cooler, drier conditions for the rest of the weekend. The best chance for rain on Saturday will be during the first half of the day but by no means is it going to be a washout! It will be rather muggy on Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 80's.

The front will push through western Mass late Saturday and behind the front it will turn cooler and dry. In fact, it will likely starting turning less humid by Saturday afternoon. With high pressure moving back in for Sunday we can expect another stretch of great August weather. Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine, dry conditions and a gusty breeze. It will feel a bit more like September than August.  The start of next week looks very nice too with a slow warming trend, low levels of humidity and sunshine.
