A much better day is on tap to close out the weekend with warm temperatures and lower levels of humidity. The warm and dry weather will stick around to kick off the work week before we see humidity build back in with the return for some showers by mid to late week.
Sunshine this morning will mix with clouds during the afternoon. There is the chance for a spot shower this afternoon thanks to a cold pool aloft. The best chance for a shower will be in Franklin county but many areas will stay dry and any showers will be light. Highs today top out in the lower and middle 80s. It will become a bit breezy this afternoon but we will also see dew points in the 50s.
Skies will clear out tonight and a cool night is on the way. Overnight lows will drop back into the lower and middle 50s. There could be some patchy fog in the typically prone locations as we head toward dawn.
The start of next week looks very nice too with a slow warming trend, low levels of humidity and sunshine. Daytime highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s and nighttime lows will drop back into the upper 50s and lower 60s. The next chance of rain will arrive Wednesday afternoon with a few showers and storms. We will also begin to see more humid air work back into the region.
