SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Motorcyclists hopped on their bikes on Saturday for the 8th Annual “Ride Like An Animal” event to benefit the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Shelter in Springfield.

Registered riders drove from the animal shelter to the Polish American Club in Feeding Hills.

“Ride Like An Animal” is considered one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the shelter, which tries to raise as much money as they can to offset the cost of medical care and training.

Participants enjoyed a post ride party featuring food, live music, and raffles.
