t's looking like a warm and humid end to the weekend with shower chances increasing this evening out ahead of a cold front. Behind that front cooler and drier air moves in for the beginning of the new work week.
After a partly sunny start to our Sunday clouds will increase this afternoon. There is the chance for a spot shower this afternoon but it looks like the steady, heavy rain will hold off until tonight. Highs today will top out in the lower 80s with dew points running in the 60s.
Rain will move in tonight with the chance for a thunderstorm. The rain could be heavy at times which could lead to some street and poor drainage flooding. We could see rain amounts around a quarter to three quarters of an inch. Lows tonight will drop back into the lower and middle 60s.
Leftover clouds tomorrow morning will quickly give way to mostly sunny skies with cooler temperatures and drier air moving in. There will be a gusty northwesterly breeze bringing a taste of fall for the beginning of the week with very low dew points (dry air) and temperatures only reaching 70s during the day and dipping into the upper 40s at night. Temperatures and humidity levels will begin to rise by the middle to later part of this week.
