The final weekend of August is shaping up to be a sunny and warm one throughout the area. Outdoor plans are looking just fine but remember to use plenty of sun screen.
Sunny skies expected this afternoon and it will feel less humid compared to yesterday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s with dew points in the lower 60s. It will be a great day to head to the beach with temperatures at the shore in the upper 70s and lower 80s thanks to a bit of a sea breeze.
Saturday night will be a bit cooler with lows in the mid to upper 50s under mostly clear skies. Another sunny day on tap tomorrow to close out the weekend with highs in the middle 80s. A few clouds will move in Sunday night ahead of a cold front that could bring a few shower to the region on Monday. It will also turn more humid. Lows Sunday night will fall back into the lower 60s with highs on Monday in the middle 80s.
We stay a bit humid, warm and partly cloudy Tuesday, then another front pushes through Wednesday with a hit or miss thunderstorm. Behind this front, models are hinting at a cooler air mass with temperatures dropping into the 70s during the day and possibly 40s at night as we head into Labor Day weekend.
