HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Over 500 Eversource customers in Hadley were without power Sunday morning for nearly 2 hours.

The Hadley Police Department told Western Mass News they first noticed the outage when their station lost electricity.  This was at about 8 a.m.   Police had a back-up generator though so they were able to have electricity still.

The Police dispatcher told us they were also getting calls from residents who lost power.

According to the Eversource Outage Map 544 customers were without power at the height of the outage.

Eversource representative Mitch Gross reported they had a "Equipment issue on East Street in Hadley.  Happened at about 8 a.m."

By about 10 a.m. Sunday everyone had been fully restored.

Eversource crews did respond to East Street to make the necessary repairs.

The Hadley Police Department is located at 15 East St.
