We saw a warmer day here in western Mass with earlier high temps well into the 80s. Tonight, with the help of clear skies, we will see temperatures cool back into the 50s. We won’t be quite as cool as the last two nights now that dew points are on the rise with the help of a southerly breeze.
By Wednesday morning, we will still have a good amount of clear sky, but expect increasing clouds through the morning and early afternoon ahead of a cold front. We will feel more humid and very warm Wednesday with highs back to the mid 80s and dew points in the 60s.
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected after 2pm through the evening. Some storms may have damaging wind gusts and an isolated severe storm can’t be ruled out.
High pressure will build in quickly Wednesday night, clearing skies for Thursday. Expect a cool start again and a mild day with highs around 70 under a lot of sunshine. Our taste of fall continues into the end of the week with some temps possibly dipping into the upper 30s Friday morning! Sunshine and 70s Friday for football and the opening of the Big E!
We stay dry Saturday, but get a bit warmer with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Two cold fronts will be moving through Sunday & Monday with decent soaking rain chances.
