After a beautiful start to our weekend yesterday clouds and some scattered showers are possible. A slow moving cold front will bring a steadier rain to the region overnight and into Monday before drier air moves in for much of the week.
Expect mostly cloudy skies today with the chance for scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Today will certainly not be a wash out as the showers appear to be widely scattered but you may want to keep the umbrella handy as a shower can pop up at any time. A warm and humid day is on tap with highs in the mid to upper 70s with dew points in the mid to upper 60s.
Skies remain cloudy tonight with the chance for a shower this evening and then the steadier rain moves in during the overnight. It will be a mild and muggy night with lows dropping back into the lower and middle 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms continue Monday, then will gradually end from west to east as a cold front finally moves through. We will begin drying out Tuesday, but will have lingering clouds as a second front moves through. We turn less humid, but stay warm through the end of next week.
