We are still feeling humid in western Mass tonight with dew points in the 60s, but they continue to drop through morning-along with temperatures. Watch out for developing patchy fog again overnight, which may be dense in spots through morning.
High pressure builds into our area Wednesday, bringing much lower dew points. It will feel cool in the morning, then pleasantly warm in the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s. With this dry air in place, Wednesday night will be cooler with many dipping into the lower 50s.
We are dry, sunny and warm Thursday-the 1st day of fall-with highs in the mid 80s, but with low humidity. Temperatures cool a bit Friday, but humidity rises as a cold front moves down from the north. Expect a mix of clouds and sun with an isolated shower or thunderstorm through the day, then a better chance for showers at night.
An upper low over the Hudson Bay will move into southeastern Canada this weekend, pushing cooler air into New England. We are breezy Saturday with lingering clouds and highs in the 60s. The Berkshires may not see temps even reach 60 degrees over the entire weekend. Sunday will be sunnier, but cooler with highs in the low 60s. By Sunday night, winds should lighten enough to allow temps to fall into the mid and upper 30s… and there’s a slight potential for a light frost in sheltered valleys.
