A warm start to fall, but turning chilly this weekend

Posted: Updated:

Friday will begin cool with temps in the mid 50s and some high, thin clouds. Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day, which isn’t looking too bad with dew points in the 50s and highs reaching around 80. We have the chance for a few showers in the afternoon and evening along with an isolated thunderstorm.

Any wet weather will move to the southeast by Friday night and Saturday looks to be a dry start with decreasing clouds. We will be breezy and cooler with highs only reaching the mid to upper 60s. We keep a breeze Saturday night, but with very dry air in place, expect lows to dip to around 40 by Sunday morning. Sunday will be the coolest day in this stretch with highs in the low 60s and lots of sun. We are clear and cold Sunday night, with less wind allowing mid to upper 30s through the valley!

Mild temperatures linger into early next week along with fair weather conditions. A stray shower is possible, but unlikely Tuesday, then again Thursday with a passing cold front.
